The Qatar Chess Association is part of the QOC (Qatar Olympic Committee) and is also part of FIDE (Fédération Internationale des Échecs), also called the World Chess Federation. The Qatar Chess Association is the organiser of all tournaments taking place in Qatar and has trained many skillful national chess players who have gained international recognition
