Quest Magazine is published by Altar Publishing, based in the UAE. The company was founded in January 2009 by Mary Joseph, who launched several years earlier UAE’s first comprehensive directory of educational institutions. Quest’s mission is to help parents, educators, and students in their quest for the best resources for their children’s, or students’, or their own success.

The ultimate goal of educational success is good relationships between parents and children, between educators and those being educated, between one another in society. This is the mission of Quest – education for the ultimate purpose of good relationships in society; relationships based on enduring values that are the foundation of a great marriage, of great parenting, of a great family, of a great society.

These values are based on the universal moral laws which are taught by all major faiths. When these laws are honored and kept, there is success, happiness, and fulfillment for those keeping them. All of today’s failures and life tragedies are the result of mankind choosing to ignore these foundational moral laws of life.

Education everywhere, in every country, is generally an abysmal failure. How can we say this? Look at the fruits of today’s education. More teenage pregnancies, more divorces, more broken families, more human-induced diseases, more of everything bad. And it’s only getting worse day by day. There are more educational institutions and facilities today than at any time in history, but they are spawning tragedies in greater depth and scope than ever in history.

Education has opened up the mysteries of the space and sub-space to us, but it is increasingly shutting us out of one another’s hearts. There is little space in education today for imparting values in the classroom and laboratories. Imparting the knowledge of the laws of gravity are considered fundamental to a student’s success, but not imparting the understanding of the gravitational pulls of the heart.

Our mission has only just begun with Quest Magazine and its offshoots – Quest Website, Quest Handbook, Quest Seminars, Quest Events. We aim to cover every area of human relationships and endeavors: family, marriage, parenting, profession, corporate business, humanitarian enterprises. With one mission: to help build great relationships between family members in the home, between employees and employers, between citizens in a nation, between nations in every continent. It’s a great vision. But we believe it’s ultimately possible – because the Creator of the universal laws of success and happiness will be pleased with any mission that has as its core purpose the attaining of that global vision.
