Qatari Saudi Company for Industrial Transformation
Qatari Saudi Company for Industrial Transformation was established in 16/7/2000 as a company of limited liability under special ministerial license No. 650 dated 25/10/1999, for the purpose of setting up mills for grinding of white clinker, oil well cement, gypsum, sand and their derivatives. QSCIT also engages in a multitude of commercial activities; including maintenance of buildings, trading in building materials and land transportation. The expenses incurred in the course of the foundation process amounted to QAR 26 million. The Company was entered into the importers register with registration No. 808 on 21/10/2000. Actual production commenced on March 1st, 2002.
The plant along with the Company’s office and storage facilities were built on an area of 40000 square meters in Mesaieed Industrial City, 30 km south of the capital Doha and 2 km from Mesaieed commercial port, via which production is exported and raw materials are imported.
