Gulf Medical College, which has been offering quality medical education for the last decade, has evolved into a university – Gulf Medical University (GMU), with effect from the 1st July, 2008. The institution was granted the university status following a decree (number 143 of 2008), issued by His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mubarak Al Nahayan, Minister for Higher Education and Scientific research, UAE. The university is promoted and managed by Thumbed Group.
The Gulf Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Ajman is the first university hospital in the U.A.E with a capacity of 250 beds housed with ultra modern facilities. The women’s Health Centre, Hi-Tech Laboratory, Modern lCU & CCU Facilities, 24 hours pharmacy, Modern Digital Imaging, On call doctor service, Fertility centre, Emergency, Frequent visits from various doctors around the globe are some the various features and services offered by the hospital.
The Gulf Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Ajman is a unique hospital, ideally located in the heart of Ajman with easy access to people from Sharjah, UAQ and RAK apart from the local residents of Ajman.
