Curtis has 20 years experience in the jewelry industry. His education and training began under a master watchmaker and continued for five years. Curtis then managed his own store in Oklahoma for a period of seven years before relocating to Tennessee.

Once there, he managed a high-profile retail jewelry store for a large retail jewelry chain in Nashville before venturing out with Karen to open Elegant Diamonds in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Curtis is currently an active member in the Wilson County Referral Group and the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce. Curtis is a (DCA) Diamontologist.

Karen and Curtis select each piece of jewelry displayed in the Elegant Diamonds showcases. Their decisions are based on the desires and requests of their customers as well as their own exquisite and discriminating taste in fine jewelry.
